Working together

towards your goals

My Approach

“Community” comes from knowing and caring about the people around you. I believe that community matters.

I grew up in a small town in Georgia. In the South, you learn the importance of consideration, manners and community. Better things happen when people listen to each other and care about each other. My friends, colleagues and clients know that when they speak to me, I listen. My aim is always to understand you, and to respond to you in a way that lets you know you’ve been heard.

Now that I live in the Greater Toronto Area, my goal as an Insurance Broker and Financial Advisor is to build community through my practice. To use my Southern values as a pattern for offering my services and expertise, and as a starting point to connect with the people I have the opportunity to help. I am building this community one family at a time. I care about my relationships, and I aim to your earn trust every time we talk.

MY BUSINESS

I always make it my business to act in the best interests of my clients, helping them to make the financial decisions that will shape their lives.

Whether you see insurance as a necessary evil, a prudent requirement or a planning opportunity, before we walk down the road to any decisions or commitments, we have some “getting-to-know-you” to do. Then we can talk about:

Insurance Products

- Life

- Disability

- Medical

- Critical illness

- Income Protection

Financial Advisory Services

- Retirement Planning

- Education Investment

- Investment Strategies

MY PROCESS

I work to understand your needs, to make sure you’re comfortable working with me, and to come back to you with choices that make sense and feel right.

Step One: Pleased to meet you!

We’ll start with a sit-down conversation that’ll be more about you and your life than anything that sounds like “insurancespeak.” Through the conversation I’ll have three goals:

- For you to know me and understand what I do.

- For me to know you and understand what’s important to you.

- For me to be set to start the process of defining your insurance and financial needs.

Step Two: How can I help you?

At our second meeting, I’ll come back with information and suggestions. I’ll bring a portfolio of products for your consideration, but the point will not be to “sell” you any of them. Instead, the goal will be to fully explain the benefits and requirements of each approach, and to work with you towards informed decisions.

This meeting will be about:

- Products and Options

- Questions and Considerations

- Decisions

Step Three: How’s it going?

When we’re done we won’t actually be done. This is what I’m talking about when I say “community.” Don’t worry, I’m not going to invite myself to your BBQs, but I am going to check in from time to time to see how things are going with you.

Why? Because life changes as it goes forward. And changes in your life will affect your planning. I’ll want to make sure the help I offer keeps up with the ups and downs of your journey.

In that light I want you to know two things:

- You can expect to hear from me from time to time.

- You can call me, any time.

CONTACT ME

Wherever you are on the path of your life, if you’re thinking about the importance of insurance or your financial planning, we should have a conversation.
